keeping our
divers safe
ROV stands for Remotely Operated Vehicle and is an unmanned robot. We operate our ROV from both shores and ships to conduct complex underwater inspections, maintenance and other taxing tasks. Using cameras, sonar and sensors, the ROV collects accurate images and data at great depths and in maritime situations that are considered unsafe for human divers.
Does your job require the safety of a ROV? Contact us and we'll discuss a number of possibilities.
Deploying a ROV is the safe option while conducting inspections in circumstances that are wild and unpredictable. ROV’s are used when working at great depths or in extremely high water pressure when decompression poses a serious threat to the wellbeing of our divers. A dangerous job such as maintaining ocean-based wind farms is performed exclusively by our highly sophisticated robot.
While ROV’s are mainly being engaged for inspection work, precision tasks such as cleaning, burning and welding are still a diver’s exclusive domain.
We’re happy to help out when deciding if your job needs a ROV or one of our expert divers.
